Our Story
We first met in 2019 in Second City’s conservatory, both new to Chicago and eager to dive into the comedy scene. Little did we know, a global pandemic was about to change everything. Despite the world’s challenges, we became close friends, spending more and more time together and forming a bond that neither of us expected.
Our first "date" was in November 2020, though we didn’t know it was that at the time. After spending one morning writing sketches together, we decided to rent a car and drive all the way to Milwaukee, just to get out of the house. We spent the day singing old country songs and talking, but neither of us was ready to admit how we felt. Back in Chicago, we weren’t ready to say goodnight either, so we watched "Dr. Doolittle" and then "Dr. Doolittle 2." By the time we were nodding off during the opening scenes of "Dr. Doolittle 3," we finally confessed our feelings for each other, spending the rest of the night holding hands.
We knew early on that this wasn’t just a casual relationship. We had found something special, something worth holding onto. On a December day in 2023, we walked down State Street and Michigan Avenue, admiring the Christmas decorations and visiting the Wrigley Building, a spot that held special meaning for us. It was there that we committed to spending the rest of our lives together, knowing exactly how we both felt.
Our lives together are filled with laughter, adventures, and love. We’re movie buffs, especially when it comes to Marvel, and we never miss a chance to try crab cakes when we travel. We love going on walks, cruising around in our car (affectionately known as a "Terry Cruise"), and spending time with our cat, Lil Dude. Whether we’re cooking dinner, visiting museums, or camping under the stars, everything we do together is our favorite thing to do.
Kendall is funny, charming, and a real go-getter, always driven to go after what she wants. She likes when Craig gives her attention and he’s always willing to take the time to give it. Craig, often described by Kendall as a "very good boy," is funny in a silly way that still surprises her. He likes it when Kendall holds his hand and listens to his stories. Kendall’s mom always said she needed a "sparring partner," and in Craig, she’s found just that. Craig and Kendall are best friends, forever and ever.
We believe in being there for our family and friends, in the power of storytelling, and that our purpose in life goes beyond our 9 to 5 jobs (which thankfully we both love). We’re excited about our future together—building a family, celebrating successes, learning from failures together, and filling the blank pages of our story. For us, it all feels like home.
